These designs are done in a mix of light fill and full cover. The light fill allows the fabric to "peak" through. For best results, stitch this design on white or cream fabric.
These designs can also be used as trivets or potholders, just use a heat proof batting instead. A perfect project for all skill levels
A little hand sewing is needed to close the opening or, if you would prefer, you can use some steam a seam to close it instead.
