The felt kitty and puppy tin play sets are fun and simple to make from scraps of felt, fabric, cardstock and metal tin boxes (use recycled Altoid mint tins or purchase empty tins online). The puppy is approximately 3” wide by 3 1/2” tall. The kitty is approximately 2 1/4” wide by 3 1/4” tall. The kitty and puppy are stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges, along with French knots and straight stitches for the eyes and mouths. A printable PDF is included for the house design on front of tin, window design inside tin lid, and rainbow design on back of tin. If you love the little animals but don’t want to use a tin, you can make an adorable felt bag for them to sleep in. Patterns can be enlarged or reduced to make the animals and sleeping bags any size that you would like.
